Annie is the founder of Arabesque Belly Dance. The art of belly dance has been a long lived passion of Annie. In doing so she traveled to Egypt, Singapore, Indonesia participated dance workshops and dance lessons from world-renowned professional instructors. With Annie’s vast background of dance and her creative choreography, Arabesque Troupe is quickly becoming a phenomenon in the Northern Region. In addition to teaching classes and directing the troupe, she also enjoys making belly dancing costumes for her belly dancers.

 

Audrey has been with Arabesque Belly Dance since its founding in 2005. She has completed the Arabesque Belly Dance Foundations/Intermediate Training. As a teacher, she is patient and positive. Her instruction is progressive, structured and emphasizes technique. She studied with many master teachers workshop and believes in dancing from the inside out with a deep understanding of music, movement, and experimental stylization. Khai Shin (Wing) has been taking lessons at Arabesque Belly Dance since 2005. She studies regularly to work on dance technique and choreography under the supervision of Annie Ong. She has also participated dance workshops with renowned Master Teachers. She performs solo, as well as with Arabesque troupe. She particularly enjoys Classical, Modern belly dance, Drum solo's and working with the veil. She started teaching beginner belly dance with Arabesque Belly Dance recently.

 

Carolyn Cheah  has been learning belly dancing  at Arabesque Belly Dance since 2009. Carolyn  is a girl who love Belly Dance so much. She been taken several workshops with renowned Master Teachers from oversea and helping her Teacher teaching in new beginner class.  She hope to meet belly dancers  in the world  and  learn from them.
