Level & Class Descriptions
Class offers for beginners through Intermediate technique, drills, combinations and specialty classes in both Oriental and Tribal Belly Dance.
Beginner Belly Dance Courses (I, II & III)
During the course, Annie will teach basic belly dance technique for those with no belly dance experience/background such as posture, arm position, shoulder shimmy, chest accents, hip drop, hip twist, hip circle, hip shimmy, figure 8, simple traveling steps, These basics will be put into combinations and/or choreography to give the students an interesting way to practice.
Belly Robics On Going Class
Belly Robics is an exciting experience for people are willing to get fit and feel great about themselves. Most beneficial to student with some belly dance background.
Yoga method are more seriously address the core muscle issues. Student will build on the fundamental movement, hip work, simple layering and basic isolation.
Intermediate Belly Dance
At least 12 months of belly dance is required, including either completion of Annie’s Beginner Belly Dance I, II & III. Classes are highly focus on techniques and drills on the fundamental movements, including more sophisticated hip work, shimmies, gestures and undulations. Students will learn combinations and choreographies.

Always remember......
1) Warm up & stretching before you start practice.
2) Remember to breathe.
3) Keep your muscles relaxed (don't tense up)
4) Smile :)
5) Have fun with it
Never...
1) Do something that hurts.
2) Dance if you are not having fun
3) Let yourself get frustrated with it (this stuff takes time and practice).
Go with the flow...
If you make a mistake just go with it, make it look like you meant to do it. Never stop because you made a mistake or forgot, at least keep dancing an improvised version. Work your mistakes into the dance. Sometimes you end up doing something you like better.
